On his blog, George seemed to hint that the ending for the novels might deviate in some way from the show, though perhaps not too drastically.

Now, we can understand that it's easy to get parched when you're sitting around in so much leather, but how did everybody miss this?

Online ratings for Game of Thrones were equally spectacular, with 471,000 fans choosing to stream the show through an internet connection.

"And yes, there will be unicorns. of a sort". ""THE WINDS OF WINTER" is very late, I know, I know, but it will be done", Martin added. He will also be serving as producer on five shows in various stages of production at HBO (some of which he says have nothing to do with Game of Thrones), two shows on Hulu, and one for the History Channel.

And then, of course, Martin noted that he is working in a very different medium from Weiss and Benioff. Martin dismissed wondering which one is the "true ending" as a "silly question".

At least one polling expert was stunned at how bad this showing was, with CNN's Harry Enten writing, "These numbers are about the worst I've seen for a non-scandal'd politician". The entire point of Varys' job was to gather information via a vast network of spies, many of them children, and pass it along to the king. He's even working on several feature projects, some of which is based on his own material. He pointed out that the final season of Thrones was wrapped in six jam-packed episodes, while he has the luxury of writing two more massive books to tell the rest of his story.

"I won't say when, I've tried that before, only to burn you all and jinx myself.but I will finish it", the author insisted.

In giving all these speeches in fake languages, I watched a lot of videos of - now it seems amusing - dictators and powerful leaders speaking a different language to see if I could understand what they were saying without knowing the language.

Sigh. We guess our watch hasn't exactly ended then, after all!

What do YOU think Perezcious readers? We get it, and we're sorry you feel let down, but there is light at the end of that tunnel.
