The final National Basketball Association head-coaching vacancy has reportedly been filled.

According to a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Grizzlies are hiring Milwaukee Bucks assistant Taylor Jenkins as their next head coach.

Jenkins is an assistant coach with the Milwaukee Bucks. He would be the third National Basketball Association head coach hired from Milwaukee bench boss Mike Budenholzer's coaching tree - which includes his time with the Atlanta Hawks - over the last five years.

The Grizzlies will formally introduce Jenkins as head coach on Wednesday. Prior to that he served as a head coach with the Austin Spurs of the G League.

Jenkins has rapidly built a reputation as an outstanding young teacher and tactician, and he'll take over a Grizzlies roster that includes veteran star Mike Conley Jr. The Grizzlies again hold the No. 2 pick in this year's draft and are expected to select explosive point guard Ja Morant out of Murray State. The team dismissed former head coach J.B. Bickerstaff in April after less than two years.

Before they hired him, the Grizzlies met with Jenkins three different times, including once with team owner Robert Pera last week.
