"The one thing about Matt, if he does go in after missing some games, is that he's been skating with us".

Boston Bruins defenseman Matt Grzelcyk has been medically cleared to play in Game 7 of the Stanely Cup Final against the St. Louis Blues at TD Garden on Wednesday night.

The Red Sox moved up the start time of their Wednesday night game to 4:05 p.m. ET to ensure that the fans in attendance would have a chance to get home for the 8:00 p.m. ET puck drop in the Bruins game.

Cassidy was asked if there would be any concerns for Grzelcyk after a two-week layoff.

Grzelcyk was taken to a hospital after taking a hit to the head late in the first period of their Game 2 loss earlier in the series.

"I think your adrenaline will carry you through, " said Cassidy.

Cassidy said that if Grzelcyk can play in Game 7, Connor Clifton would likely be the odd man out of the lineup. Any opinions expressed do not necessarily reflect those of 98.5 The Sports Hub, Beasley Media Group, or any subsidiaries. It's not like he just jumped on the ice with us yesterday.
