Barcelona will have to pay at least €130,000 to West Brom in training compensation for Barry, per FIFA's regulations, although sources have indicated to ESPN FC they are willing to pay more as a goodwill gesture.

Barcelona have signed the highly sought-after 16-year-old striker Louie Barry.

PSG had also lodged an interest in Barry who underwent a medical with the French club before he changed his mind joined the Spanish champions instead.

Past year he scored 10 goals in five games for England U15s during a tournament in Italy.

Birmingham-born Barry also represents England at Under-16 level and bagged two goals in four games during the Montaigu Tournament in France earlier this year.

He comes with worldwide experience despite his age and will no doubt flourish in Spain to further enhance his growing reputation.

Barry was at West Brom from the age of six and was tipped to make the step up to their first team.

He joins Morgan Rogers in leaving the club, with Manchester City agreeing a fee with the Baggies for the England under-17 attacker - with his move expected to be sealed this week.

But it is Barça who have secured his signing and on Thursday made the announcement of the player who will now be part of the Juvenil A side having signed a three-year contract.
