The Desert Foxes also boast of hugely talented and experienced players in captain, Riyad Mahrez, Yacine Brahimi, Sofiane Feghouli, Aissa Mandi and Islam Slimani that should worry any opponent.

The Algerian defence will have to contend with the pace of youngsters Samuel Chukwueze, Alex Iwobi and Simon Moses in the attack.

"We still have things to improve, for example if we have chances to score a second goal we need to be more clinical".

According to Amaju Pinnick, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Nigerian oil mogul Femi Otedola has also promised to reward the team with $25,000 for every goal beginning from the encounter with Algeria. In football most times, you have to earn the right to win. The Super Eagles have been one of the most consistent teams in the history of AFCON. We've played 20 players already.

"It's going to be a tough game".

"We are not anxious about the way they've played and their unbeaten run".
