There are no immediate reports of damage in the area this morning.

That was the popular question Friday morning as residents around Western Washington awoke to news that a 4.6-magnitude natural disaster rattled near Puget Sound and Seattle just before 3 a.m.

Further south along the Pacific coast, a magnitude 4.9 aftershock of last week's Southern California earthquakes was felt widely in the region on Friday morning.

The quake happened at 2:51 a.m. local time in Three Lakes, Wa. The quake could be felt as far north as Vancouver, according to the shake maps from the USGS. "I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and logged into the USGS site to learn I'd just experienced the waves of a 4.6 magnitude quake centered under Monroe". The second - measured at magnitude 3.5, occurred near Monroe a few minutes later.

NWS Seattle says a Tsunami is not expected.

This story is breaking and will be updated shortly.
