Schefter reported on Monday evening that several teams have repeatedly called Washington, inquiring about trading for the 31-year-old who is holding out from the Redskins, but Washington has showed no interest in dealing Williams.

Days after a report that Williams has no intention of ever playing for Washington again, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Washington is rebuffing incoming trade offers for the seven-time Pro Bowler. In fact, at present, they reportedly don't have plans to move him.

But this isn't your standard holdout strictly over contract negotiations. It was finally surgically removed this offseason.

Along with affecting Haskins and the other quarterbacks, the absence of Williams has fundamentally changed how Washington operates on offense, according to the Peterson.

Williams is reportedly unhappy with how the Redskins medical staff diagnosed and treated a "serious" medical issue previous year. Quarterback Alex Smith dealt with an infection following surgery to fix his broken leg and running back Derrius Guice dealt with multiple infections after surgery to fix a torn ACL. The holdout is rumored to be based off of a dispute that Williams has had with the medical staff and a misdiagnosis they gave him over a growth on his head.
