Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, Meryl Streep, Timothee Chalamet, Laura Dern and more have teamed up with Lady Bird's Greta Gerwig for what promises to be the ideal Christmas Day activity this year.

The first trailer for Greta Gerwig's "Little Women" hit the internet Tuesday at noon, giving audiences their first look at the star-studded project, which spent months filming in MA a year ago.

Also featuring is Emma Watson as Meg, Florence Pugh as Amy and Eliza Scanlen as Beth. Joined by Timothée Chalamet, James Norton, Laura Dern, Louis Garrel, Bob Odenkirk, Chris Cooper, Abby Quinn, and Tracy Letts. Chalamet will star opposite Ronan (again) as her neighbor and love interest, Laurie. But the idea of Lady Bird's Greta Gerwig infusing her style, sense and sensibility into it, and gathering a quality cast of young actors, is certainly appealing.

"Women, they have minds, and they have souls, as well as just hearts", Jo says in the trailer.

Finally, we get to see Ronan and Chalamet in action as Jo March and Theodore "Laurie" Laurence, respectively, doing lots of running and frolicking in the new trailer for Little Women finally released by Sony. And I'm so sick of people saying that love is just all that a woman is fit for.

This novel may have been written in 1868, but it seems totally fitting for 2019! It is due for release in the United Kingdom and Ireland on December 26 after the film's Christmas Day release in the US. The first trailer for the film is now online.
