According to a report from Vibe, Dave Chappelle is coming back to the comedy scene once again already.

The official description calls this new special "unflinching and boundary-pushing" with Dave giving "his provocative perspective on the tidal wave of celebrity scandals, the opioid crisis, and more - in trademarked Chappelle fashion".

Morgan jokingly says in the clip, "how did we get here", but rather than referring to the political climate, the narrator refers to the background in which Dave is walking: "How did Dave get here?"

As one of the most successful stand-up comedians on the planet - speaking both in terms of recognizability and money earned - Dave Chappelle is in a place where every new project he puts out is worthy of rampant anticipation.

Dave Chappelle is returning to Netflix this month with a brand new stand-up special, Sticks & Stones. How did we get here, I wonder. I don't mean that metaphorically. How did Dave get here?

"Equanimity" and his guest host turn on "Saturday Night Live" scored him Emmy Awards in 2018 and 2017, respectively. He previously starred in Deep in the Heart of Texas: Dave Chappelle Live at Austin City Limits, The Age of Spin: Dave Chappelle Live at the Hollywood Palladium, Dave Chappelle: Equanimity and Dave Chappelle: The Bird Revelation. Sticks and Stones will hit the Netflix platform on the 26th of August, Monday. He also had a co-starring role in Bradley Cooper's Oscar-winning A Star Is Born past year.
