Dante joins five-star SF CJ Walker, four-star SF Chandler Lawson, three-star C Isaac Johnson, three-star SG Chris Duarte (JUCO), and three-star PFr Lok Wur for the 2019 incoming class.

The Ducks got a huge summer pickup on Thursday when 2020 five-star big man N'Faly Dante announced that he's not only reclassifying to 2019, but also has chosen OR over Kentucky.

"Throughout this process it's been important to me to choose a place that I know you'd be proud of".

Rivals says that Dante will enroll with the school immediately.

"Oregon has a program that reflects a lot of the values you taught me when I was growing up".

Dante, who was named MVP of Peach Jam, also announced that he would be reclassifying from 2020 to 2019 and suiting up for the Ducks this coming season.

Can Oregon repeat this upcoming season with so many new faces?

"It's taken some time for Dante to build up to this point", Rivals national basketball analyst Eric Bossi wrote.

A 6-foot-11 center from Mali, Dante attended Sunrise Christian Academy (Kansas). He was dominant protecting the rim, dominant cleaning the glass and dominant scoring on the interior.

OR lost three players (Bol Bol, Louis King, Kenny Wooten) early to the 2019 NBA Draft and two more (Victor Bailey, Miles Norris) to the transfer market.

Dante, ranked as the No. 12 recruit in the nation in the 2020 class by the 247Sports Composite, chose coach Dana Altman's Ducks over offers from Kentucky, LSU and Kansas.

Dante is the third highest-rated basketball commit in program history, behind only Bol Bol (2018) and Malik Hairston (2004).
