While iOS 12 offered users the option to allow apps to location information "Always", "While Using the App" or "Never", iOS 13 adds an additional "Allow Once" option for permitting one-time only access.

Apple is set to launch a new version of its operating software, iOS 13, on September 19th - one day before releasing its iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. "iPadOS delivers exciting features, including a new Home screen with widgets, more powerful multitasking and new tools that make using Apple Pencil even more natural".

At the same time, Facebook is going to phase out the background location setting on Android 10 while sending reminders to Android users to check their device's own location settings.

Facebook warns that when you're already utilizing Facebook's background location setting, this replace might trigger just a few cases where the Android and Facebook location settings can be out of sync-however it can respect probably the most restrictive settings choice.
