Terrence Howard Says He's Retiring from Acting After "Empire" Ends

Howard made the surprising declaration on the "Empire" set with "Extra" correspondent Miss USA Cheslie Kryst.

However, as far as the new season goes, Howard shared very few details of the upcoming season, and the promo clip that shows his character lying on the ground, he said, "I'm sure he might have been sleeping".

In yet another surprise retirement announcement, Terrence Howard is done with the world of acting.

Kryst asked, to which Howard replied, "Oh, I'm done with acting".

The sixth and final season of Empire will premiere on Tuesday, September 24 at 9pm ET on Fox.

When Kryst followed up, asking if he is, instead, choosing to focus on "philanthropy and other interests", he clarified, "No, not philanthropy; I'm just focusing on bringing truth to the world".

He said that he'll miss the cast of "Empire" and the crew.

Jussie Smollett beforehand starred in the Fox drama.

Actor in the movie 'Hustle & Flow' unveiled about the news of quitting after the fact of being investigated for the criminal tax evasion.

The federal government are reportedly looking into possible financial crimes committed by Terrence, Mira Pak - who he divorced in 2015 but got engaged to again in December 2018 - and her company Universal Bridges Inc.
