Quarterback Luke Falk departed late in the game to undergo testing for a concussion, while wide receiver Robby Anderson left with an undisclosed injury in the second half and never returned.

All of a sudden, the Eagles went from a team that trailed their rivals by two games two weeks ago to being in great shape heading into Week 6, although they still have a long way to go.

" No matter who they're concentrated on, or whatever, it's football. If everybody in the locker room doesn't feel the exact same method, they probably shouldn't be here".

Philadelphia's defensive tactical plan shared the same focus. He did not play against the Eagles. "We definitely had a lot of eyes on him".

" I knew that's where the ball was going", Gerry said. "We understood how they were going to try and attack us".

Now, he sees what was buried in the fine print of a contract to join a team without a playoff appearance since 2010.

" I have actually been playing football for so long, so nothing really surprises me anymore", said Bell, who included seven receptions for 45 yards. "As I'm out there, I kind of feel things go wrong". I feel a play or two, 'Dang, we missed out on it, ' but I know we're close. Right now everybody has to look at themselves in the mirror, and say we have to get better.
