The end is near, folks.

A livestream signaling the end of the season is set to kick off this weekend in Fortnite.

There isn't much more information aside from the leaked artwork, however. A new leak suggests that Epic Games is gearing up to rebrand the colourful shooter as Fortnite: Chapter 2, with an entirely new map to boot.

This revelation comes via a leak from Apple's Italian App Store, of all places. It also looks like players will be getting a new map to play on, or at the very least a heavily altered map.

An image taken from the Italian App Store has been shared on social networks that shows a familiar Fortnite-style scenario but is emblazoned with the words "Fortnite Capitolo 2".

Secondly, it's clear to see a couple of boats powering down the river, which obviously implies that Fortnite Chapter 2 will give players the opportunity to carry out their best battle royale maneuvers whilst traversing bodies of water. Epic is still being cryptic about what the next season of Fortnite will bring. We'll find out for sure this weekend. It's nothing major other than telling us that the end is near. There was some speculation that Epic would delay the start date of Season 11 to fall in line with normal releases - usually Thursday - but this small bit of promotion confirms the release date of this Sunday. A new storyline is also rumored to be coming with the new content.

Let us know your theories in the comments. Are you excited for the new map or sad to say goodbye to the old one?
