In addition to the continued absence of starting left tackle Eric Fisher and potential absence of star wide receiver Tyreek Hill (who is a game-time decision and officially listed as "questionable"), the Chiefs are going to be without star pass-rusher Chris Jones and are likely missing receiver Sammy Watkins and left guard Andrew Wylie.

NFL Network reported earlier in the day that the Chiefs are "optimistic" the star receiver will be cleared to play Sunday, NFL Network reported Friday.

"He did a little bit of everything last week".

Hill returned to the practice field on October 2, but missed the Chiefs' Monday night matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, when Kansas City suffered its first loss of the season.

The injury turned out to be more severe than initially believed and required a trip to Jacksonville hospital.

Hill has been out of the lineup since suffering an injury to his sternum and right collarbone in Week 1.

Reports indicated Hill would miss four to six weeks, but the Chiefs opted not to put him on injured reserve.

The Chiefs (4-1) will host the Texans (3-2) on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
