SC upset No. 3 Georgia 20-17 in the second overtime Saturday, with the Bulldogs missing a field goal that would've extended the game.

White had missed a 33-yard attempt in the first overtime, after South Carolina's Israel Mukuamu intercepted Georgia's Jake Fromm off a deflection to end the Bulldogs' opening possession.

After Fromm's interception in the first series of overtime, SC kicker Parker White again missed a chance to seal the victory, this time from 33 yards out. Freshman Dakereon Joyner took over for Hilinski, but could not improve on the Gamecocks' 17-10 halftime lead.

Fromm finished the game 28-for-51 for 295 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. SC then had a chance to win in regulation, but inexplicably tried a 57-yard field goal on 4th & 3 from the Georgia 40 with 40 seconds remaining. His alma mater, South Carolina, was a 24-point underdog against No. 3 Georgia and on an 11-game losing streak against ranked teams.

The kick was unsuccessful, but the Bulldogs were unable to get themselves in range to try their own potentially game-winning field goal.
