But Sergey Gorshkov is clearly both - as demonstrated by his stunning picture of a Siberian, or Amur, tiger deep in the forests of Russia's Far East won him the title of Wildlife Photographer of the Year (WPY), BBC informs.

This year it received 490, 000 entries, among which five by Chinese photographers were selected as finalists. It also won the Animals in their Environment category.

The Earthshot Prize, of which Dubai global ports operator DP World and Dubai Expo 2020 are founding partners, will award £50 million ($64.8m) over a decade to the best and most innovative ideas to battle environmental destruction.

The winning image, called "the embrace", features an endangered Siberian tiger or Amur. The exhibition of the photographs will open on October 16. The exhibition will then tour across the United Kingdom and internationally to venues in countries including Australia, Canada, Denmark and Germany.

The museum said limited visitor numbers and security measures in the light of Covit-19 would ensure that visitors have a "safe and welcoming experience" and can view images in a crowded gallery.
