But there is more, since the male voice is not the only novelty today in the Google Assistant in Spain.

Samsung's smart TV lineup from this year is getting Google Assistant voice control support, Samsung announced on Thursday.

Once installed, the Google Assistant can be used to control the TV and find content to watch, but also answer questions, read out the news and weather forecast, and of course control all of your smart home devices. Samsung's support page details more voice commands you can try out.

According to Google, the Assistant will be available on Samsung 2020 smart TV models, including the 2020 8K and 4K QLED models, the 2020 Crystal UHD TVs, 2020 Frame and Serif sets, and 2020 Sero and Terrace models.

To setup Google Assistant on your 2020 Samsung TV, navigate to Settings General Voice and select Voice Assistant. Essentially, if you own a top-tier Samsung smart TV bought in 2020, it should soon be compatible with Google Assistant.

To make life easier, Google will be adding Google Assistant support on the recently launched Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3 smartwatches. The integration with Fitbit smartwatches will be coming this winter.

Samsung says how buyers of new televisions will be prompted to set up the Google Assistant when they switch it on for the first time. You can start a Fitbit exercise, take control of the timers, manage any task, add items to your shopping list using just your voice. The wearables already offer support for Alexa, and the new integration makes sense given Google's pending acquisition of Fitbit. Because it is a mature voice assistant and people are more familiar with Google Assistant than any other assistant.
