Watch Dogs: Legion will be one of the main intergenerational games this Christmas.

It is on the occasion of the launch of Watch Dogs Legion, on October 29, that the publisher will set up Ubisoft Connect, its new loyalty program that will allow fans of Ubisoft games to participate in activities to obtain game (weapons, outfits, consumables) through a progression system.

Ubisoft's big bet together with Assassin's Creed Valhalla, who recently guaranteed its optimized version on Xbox Series X along with Smart Delivery, will run at 4K resolution with 30 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X, as confirmed by the development team.

Ray-tracing (real-time ray tracing) will be accelerated by the PS5 and Xbox Series X hardware itself, but that comes at a price.

Speaking in a Reddit Ask Me Anything thread, Ubisoft producer Lathieeshe Thillainathan revealed the visual and performance targets for the upcoming cross-gen game. There were multiple questions if Ray Tracing would increase the FPS at least to 60, but all those questions remained unanswered. It sounds like this is changing a bit for Watch Dogs: Legion, but Thillainathan was light on details for the time being, saying "Invasion is evolving". If you're not picking up a PS5 or Xbox Series X this year, however, then you may be wondering if Watch Dogs Legion is Xbox One X and PS4 Pro enhanced to make use of all that extra horsepower.
