Antonio Brown will likely play in the National Football League in 2020 after reportedly agreeing to the framework of a contract with the Buccaneers on Friday. The Brady-Brown connection played one productive game last season, with Brown catching four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots win against the Dolphins. His time with the Patriots didn't go much better - he played one game before being released amid a sexual misconduct claim.

If the deal is finalized and Brown clears the NFL's coronavirus protocols, he could be on the field for Tampa Bay in Week 9, a Sunday night home game against the New Orleans Saints on November 8.

Brown will be eligible to join the Buccaneers after his eight-game suspension for multiple violations of the NFL's personal conduct policy ends after Week 8.

Brown joining the Buccaneers marked a reversal for Buccaneers' coach Bruce Arians, who had worked with Brown when he was the offensive coordinator with the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to the Houston Chronicle, Brown is scheduled to visit the Buccaneers on Saturday.

As one would expect, the fan reactions to this news were quite diverse especially since many Seahawks fans felt they would be getting Brown.
