The Black Panther actor, who did not leave a will, had an estate valued at $938,500, People reported, citing court docs, and Ledward has limited authority over the discretion.

According to court documents obtained by E!

The documents, which also list Boseman's parents Leroy and Carolyn Boseman, note that the actor died "intestate", meaning he did not have a will. In her initial filing, Ledward listed the estimated value of Boseman's estate as Dollars 938,500.

The sequel was set to begin production in March 2021, but plans for the movie were put on hold after Chadwick unexpectedly passed away after a battle with colon cancer.

"No. There's only one Chadwick, and he's no longer with us. A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you numerous films you have come to love so much". Besides the three that have already completed shooting and are in post production, with 2021 release dates set (that's Black Widow on May 7, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on July 9, and Eternals on November 11), Spider-Man 3 and Doctor Strange 2 have recently, or will soon, start filming.

They added that he 'died in his home, with his wife and family by his side, ' adding that 'it was the honor of his career to bring King T'Challa to life in Black Panther'. At the time, many didn't know that he had secretly married Ledward. At the 50th NAACP Image Awards later that year, the actor received the outstanding actor in a motion picture award for his starring role in the Marvel film and paid tribute to Ledward in his acceptance speech. "Simone, you're with me every day", he said.

He was later laid to rest in SC where his parents reside.
