Manager Carlo Ancelotti will be counting on Alex Iwobi to inspire Everton against Fulham having listed the Nigeria worldwide in his starting XI.

Brazil forward Richarlison, returning from a three-match ban, picked up a loose ball and ran wide to cross for Calvert-Lewin who tapped in his ninth league goal of the campaign 42 seconds into the contest.

England global Dominic Calvert-Lewin bundled Everton in front inside 42 seconds.

Fulham hit back through Bobby De Cordova-Reid's neat finish on 15 minutes but Everton continued to threaten and were unlucky not go ahead as Calvert-Lewin's effort was chalked off for offside and Richarlison's low shot was pushed away.

Digne looked lively in an advanced role and was involved in Everton's third, firing in a cross for Doucoure to head home on 35 minutes and open his Everton account after joining from Watford in the close season.

Fulham were much improved in the second half with substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek reducing the arrears seconds after Ivan Cavaleiro had deepened the hosts' penalty woes with a shanked spot-kick over the bar.

With the advantage down to one goal, Ancelotti made some substitutions of his own and took James off. It had been a good outing for the playmaker as he participated in two goals, even if he hadn't starred quite like he did in other matches. Fulham, on the other hand, are still down near the bottom of the table with just four points to their name.
