LaVar certainly has a knack for taking the attention from his sons and bringing it on himself.

Since LaMelo Ball is an individual from the Charlotte Hornets, some b-ball fans are trusting that the 1-on-1 game between his frank dad LaVar and six-time National Basketball Association champion Michael Jordan may really work out as intended.

At the very least, LaVar deserves credit for playing an active role in his boys' development and providing them an environment in which they could succeed. He's the originator of the Big Baller Brand.

"If he never did that to Big Baller I would have been like 'Trump's our guy, let's roll!'" he continued.

LaVar, quiet no longer, is accepting congratulations and telling the room, "Tell MJ: Here we come!"

After he was drafted by the Hornets on Wednesday night, Ball said the prospect of playing for Jordan was a "straight blessing". "Tell MJ we're coming!"

Jordan is 57 and LaVar is 53.

Everyone immediately made jokes about it the moment LaMelo Ball was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets: now, we can finally get that LaVar Ball and Michael Jordan one-on-one the father of LaMelo, LiAngelo and Lonzo has been talking about for years. He likes the idea of Jordan guiding his son.

It's time to say that LaVar Ball was right.

"He played, I think, college, maybe?"

It wouldn't be smart to bet against Jordan, even if he was one-legged.

LaVar Ball creates some of the best soundbites and is one of the most entertaining people in the world.
