Free agent guard Jaylen Adams also agreed to a two-way deal with the Bucks on Saturday, his agents told ESPN.

Forbes, 27, leaves the San Antonio Spurs and joins the Bucks for the opportunity to play a significant role on a championship contender.

The terms of the deal have not yet been reported, but in acquiring the 29-year-old Craig, Bucks general manager John Horst continues to bolster his team's bench after the Bogdan Bogdanovic debacle put a damper on the offseason.

Augustin found a home in Orlando the past four seasons, averaging 10.5 points and 4.6 assists per game for the Magic last season while seeing regular time running the point.

Portis, 25, averaged 10.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for the Knicks last season, his fifth in the National Basketball Association. The power forward registered 10.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game and shot 35.8% from three on 2.8 attempts per contest.

Craig is an important fit for the Bucks, especially because of the way he can guard all over the floor. Milwaukee has recovered by adding Craig, Forbes, D.J. Augustin and Bobby Portis in free agency.
