England coach Eddie Jones has recalled flyhalf George Ford to the starting XV as his side look to clinch their place in the Autumn Nations Cup final with a win away to Wales on Saturday.

'It is a blow with Ross, ' added Jenkins.

"We were hoping he was going to be okay for the latter games, but sadly that's not to be the case".

'He has been a big player for us over a long period of time, and someone we could do with at this moment in time.

The 27-year-old fly-half, who notched 43 points in four Challenge Cup appearances in 2019/20, makes his first global start of the campaign after returning from injury as a replacement in last week's 18-7 win over Ireland.

"If Navs is right, he's a fantastic player", Jenkins said.

'We are pretty blessed in the back-row area, and Josh fits into that.

'We will see how he goes later on in the week, ' said Jenkins.

"For me, he is a world-class player, the type of guy with minimal rugby that can step up and play Test match football".

Navidi and number eight Taulupe Faletau (knee) are both back in full training, but centre Jonathan Davies appears an unlikely starter against England after suffering a knee injury during the 32-9 defeat to Ireland 11 days ago.
