Eagles Not Talking About Trading Carson Wentz

This would put the Eagles behind the 8-ball when trying to rebuild and shape a team around Jalen Hurts if he proves to be the team's next franchise quarterback.

Carson Wentz's time with the Eagles will likely come to an end once the season concludes, ESPN reports. "The fact that Howie Roseman didn't say Carson Wentz is our future or that he was going to be their quarterback and they would work everything out and make sure that he has everything he needs to have success in Philly".

The reason behind Wentz's reported trade request was the fact that his relationship with Doug Pederson had been broken beyond fix.

Despite Hurts starting the last few games, Kiper Jr. was adamant that the Eagles were Wentz's team."But when you said it a month ago, I said this is Wentz's team and I believe right now this is still Wentz's team".

On Sunday Night Football, the Eagles head coach made a decision to go for a 4th down play instead of tying the game near the goal line, then he inexplicably chose to bench Jalen Hurts for the remainder of the game.

"What else are you going to do? You didn't allow him to go out and try to win that football game". Carson Wentz WON yesterday.

"The money is not an issue, Hertz was a second-round pick, Wentz is paid big".

Of course, the team's vision will have a lot to do with Wentz's plans.

According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, "many Eagles players and coaches were shocked and outraged" with the move. I don't think it's a competition. They finished the season 4-11-1. Few expect Carson Wentz or Doug Pederson to stay, and at least one of them will part ways with Philadelphia.
