And the very powerful front and rear motors of the vehicle can accelerate the auto from 0-100 KM/h in 3.9s.

The battery pack located on the vehicle floor comes in several configurations, starting with a 70-kWh unit that provides over 500 km of range and followed by a 100-kWh unit for over 700 km. Alternatively, you can buy the ET7 with batteries for 448,000 yuan (about $69,200). NIO Aquila features 33 high-performance sensing units, including 11 8MP high-resolution cameras, 1 ultra-long-range high-resolution LiDAR, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, 2 high-precision positioning units, V2X and ADMS.

The overall design of the NIO ET7 looks quite pleasing, with a front end that loosely resembles the Kia Stinger and a rear that's reminiscent of an Audi A7, which is by no means a bad combination. There are invisible air vents that control the amount of air going in the auto.

Standard equipment that Nio offers include a two-spoke steering wheel, a 23-speaker sound system with 1,000 watts of output, an air filtration system, air suspension, 4D Dynamic Control (navigation based active suspension) acoustic glass, along with heated, ventilated and massaging seats for both rows. Besides, ET7 comes standard with 23 speakers with a total output of 1000 watts, making the 7.1.4 immersive sound system become a reality in the auto.

Two-bar LED daytime running lights also make up the front fascia, with cutouts beneath it to accommodate the dual-beam LED headlamps.

Also remarkable is the way the designers managed to integrate the LiDAR, one of the biggest worries surrounding this technology. The Sedan has been designed very well and has a very spacious interior. The world's first in-car AI system NOMI also keeps involving.

Here is the 1st look at the new ET7 Sedan unveiled by Nio. And Elon Musk says Tesla is only a few years off its own high-density production battery, which is targeting a density over 400 Wh/kg to pack in even more energy. Nio is planning to start the delivery of these battery-equipped cars by 2022. There will be 70 kWh and 100 kWh battery options available at launch (the same options existing NIO vehicles have), but later in 2022 NIO will introduce a 150 kWh battery option that will have a 1000 km (620 mi) range using the generous NEDC range test.

With the new power swapping stations the company has increased the capacity by 3 times.

Each station can accommodate 13 batteries, and would be able to perform up to 312 swaps per day. The cars will allegedly drive themselves into these small boxes, and as you sit there, the entire battery pack will be automatically dropped out from under the auto and replaced with a fresh one. Nio has hundreds of locations for battery swapping in China and has announced the deployment of a second-generation version of the system.

The car's unveiling took place at the company's annual Nio Day, and it's revealed around the 2 hour and 3 minute mark in the video above with the specs mentioned right before.
