The band will also celebrate the new track and Grohl's birthday tonight on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" with the band's first live performance of the song. "I wrote Waiting On A War that day". Every day waiting for the sky to fall.

In contrast to the two previously-released, hard-rocking singles, "Waiting On A War" is a more contemplative meditation on the state of impending doom. Because I need more.

Hot on the heels of "No Son of Mine", Foo Fighters unleash another dose of Medicine at Midnight in the form of "Waiting on a War". Last year, they published an online zinecalled The People of Rock and Roll, where fans can submit their favorite Foo memories; launched commemorative merch capsules, and released a documentary called Times Like Those, and even though 2020's over Dave Grohl and company are far from done partying.

Previously, Grohl revealed that Medicine At Midnight is a critical release in Foo Fighters' decades-spanning career. "That's what we wanted to make, we wanted to make this really up, fun record". Producer Andrew Watt recently shared that Hawkins is among the musicians working on Ozzy Osbourne's new album. The Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters frontman officially turned 52 years old this year. It's available for pre-order/pre-save here. "The Vans x Foo Fighters Sk8-Hi is coming soon".

The sake will be available from February 5, the same day Medicine at Midnight comes out.
