One of TCL's new sound bars will be the Alto 82i with Dolby Atmos surround sound, dual built-in subwoofers, and support for AirPlay 2, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant, set to launch in the third quarter of 2021.

Kevin Wang, CEO of TCL Industrial Holdings and TCL Electronics, said, "The introduction of TCL Google TVs will take our partnership with Google to the next level".

TCL will have televisions that run on the Google TV platform later this year.

"Our theme at CES this year is "Experience More" and by combining cutting-edge displays with smart and convenient content powered by Google, I am confident we will allow people around the world to do just that in 2021".

Shobana Radhakrishnan, Senior Engineering Director, Google TV, said, "We are excited to partner with TCL to bring Google TV to customers around the world".

Introduced previous year alongside the Chromecast with Google TV, Google's new TV software features a revamped user interface that better integrates finding shows and movies from a host of different apps and services.

TCL has offered quite a few TV models with Android TV over the years, but its United States product lineup has typically been dominated by devices powered by Roku. This is a good thing for consumers as Google TV gives users access to app and services through the Paly Store rather than Roku's closed system that requires services like HBO Max, Disney+ and others to come to an agreement with Roku for their services to be featured on the platform.
