According to multiple reports, former Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni will take over as the man in charge in Philadelphia, and he will be asked to try and help restore quarterback Carson Wentz's career. During his four seasons with the Chiefs, he also served as an assistant quarterbacks coach, as well as a wide receivers coach. There is plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, including Herbert, who is favored to win AP Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. Even though Staley has coached defense for 15 years, including 11 in college, he did play quarterback at the University of Dayton.

Telesco also said that the only quality that stands out in Staley is its maturity. It was just very to the point. We responded to a lot of substance, which really stood out, "Telesco said". You're seeing the communication part right now. You will see the teacher separate further and when we are on the grass.

Regarding Staley's field vision, he seeks to create an attack that plays on Herbert's forces.

There's only one team left on the NFL's coaching carousel. "I think that my background as a player, my background as a defensive coach, I think that we'll be able to shape that in a really special way".

Staley also hopes to apply the same agility and flexibility to his defense. He said he will continue to call the defense despite being the head coach.

"I think that's what I wanted to express in the interview ..." Sirianni has been on National Football League staffs with the Colts, Chargers and Chiefs since 2009.
