Your weather: It will be warm across the country on Easter Monday

A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible today, but most of us will stay dry.

Tuesday is forecasted to be mostly sunny, with the high near 70. Some sunshine will also filter back in to bring our temperatures into the lower/middle 70s.

As the middle of the week arrives, Wednesday is slated to be partly sunny with highs near 72. Highs: Upper 70s Sunday Night: Partly cloudy. The heightened precipitation prospects and associated increase in cloud cover along with the progression of this system across the Midwest will work to knock temperatures down into the 60s heading into next weekend. High pressure will keep it sunny and warm through the weekend with record temperatures likely! A 60 per cent chance of showers late this morning and this afternoon with risk of a thunderstorm. Lows in the lower 50s.

Northern Cape will be partly cloudy in the north at first, otherwise fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the north-east by the afternoon, where isolated thunderstorms are expected. Highs will be in the mid 70s. As winds turn more southerly mid week, highs will quickly return to the mid 80s, with upper 80s possible by Friday.

Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the east in the afternoon.
