AT&T Unlimited Choice Customers Now Receive HBO for Free

After throwing in unrestricted access to premium HBO entertainment for its generous Unlimited Plus customers at no additional cost nearly six months ago, America's second largest cellular company is now expanding the freebie to thrifty Unlimited Choice subscribers as well.

AT&T is giving more subscribers free access to HBO.

Keep in mind that AT&T Unlimited Plus subscriptions start at $90, removing web surfing speed restrictions (up to 22GB consumption), jumping to HD content viewing and also covering 10 gigs of mobile hotspot data in addition to the free HBO pass.

If you subscribe to an AT&T video service but not HBO, you'll automatically receive unlimited access to HBO as part of your wireless plan. If they don't use the services, they will get HBO through DIRECTV NOW and HBO GO apps.

Also, now seems like a good time to quickly outline the difference between Unlimited Choice and Unlimited Pro. The only way to remove such throttling is to upgrade to the Unlimited Pro plan, which is an extra $30/month after bill credits are applied and Auto Pay is enrolled for. It previously gave the perk to users of its more expensive Unlimited Plus plan in April.
