Add James Harden to the list of players who would support Carmelo Anthony signing with the Rockets.

But the three-way deal that also features the Philadelphia 76ers has been agreed to and is lined up to be executed after Philadelphia makes another roster move.

There's been a lot of interest in Carmelo Anthony since news broke that he'd be leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder. With this new trade, the Thunder hopes to send the former All-Star to the Hawks in exchange for guard Dennis Schroder.

The 34-year-old Anthony opted in to a $27.9 million option earlier in the offseason. If he signs with the Rockets, he's expected to receive the league's veteran minimum salary of $2.4 million. Therefore, the Anthony-to-the-Rockets deal could take some time as Atlanta first wants to get that reported trade done, then release Anthony, leading to Anthony needing to then clear waivers before the Rockets could officially sign him.

The Hawks plan to waive Anthony, who will then become a free agent after he clears waivers.

Rockets officials have reportedly been assuming Anthony will be heading their way after meeting with him earlier this month in Las Vegas.

Chris Paul has also been pushing for the Rockets to acquire Anthony, according to Yahoo Sports' Jordan Shultz.

Last season, his first with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Anthony averaged a career-low 16.2 points per game as well as 5.8 rebounds.
