While it's clear that the Motorola One Macro is the most low-priced device in the One line-up, it still has a lot going for it.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Motorola One Macro runs Android 9 Pie with a stock interface and features a 6.2-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) Max Vision display (19:9 aspect ratio) with a pixel density of 270ppi. It is an entry-level Android One smartphone from the company.

The Motorola One Macro that comes with a polycarbonate rear. This results in a screen-to-body-ratio of 81.3 percent. Some of the key features of the device include a triple rear camera module, Helio P70 chipset, waterdrop notch display, and 4,000mAh battery. The device offers an inbuilt storage of 64 GB.

The onboard storage on the Motorola One Macro can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB), but at the expense of dual-SIM functionality, since the phone features a hybrid slot. It will also be provided with security updates for two years.

Like almost all Motorola One handsets, the One Macro is named after its camera system - in this case it's a macro lens, a piece of kit Motorola hasn't used in its devices before. It can record 1080p videos at up to 120fps. The lenses all sit on the top left corner of the Macro's back, resembling the Huawei P30 Pro and, to some extent, the Samsung Galaxy Note10. It is assisted by a depth sensor of 2-megapixel for portrait shots. The camera module is coupled with laster autofocus for better focusing.

It features a triple rear camera setup that is highlighted by a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.12-micron pixel size. There is a massive 4,000 mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Motorola One Action has landed in India for Rs. 9,999 (~$140). The Motorola One Macro, as the name clearly suggests, focuses on macro photography and comes with a dedicated macro sensor to capture close-up photos. India is the first country where this phone has been launched. A global launch of the smartphone will happen in the Europe, Latin America and the US on October 24.
