Actor Paul Rudd opens up on Friday's The Graham Norton Show about the popular sitcom, which he appeared on from 2002 until the show's end in 2004, and how he nearly didn't get to keep his recurring role after accidentally hurting co-star Jennifer Aniston on set.

The comedic actor-turned-Marvel superstar appeared on the BBC's "The Graham Norton Show" on Friday and spoke about the popular sitcom's 25th anniversary, spilling a little tea on himself as he recalled the time he almost fumbled his gig on the series after accidentally injuring co-star Jennifer Aniston.

LeBlanc knew exactly what he was doing with the Segway, but when Rudd asked to give it a try, it didn't go well.

"I spun "round and rolled it right over Jennifer's foot!" he reveals".

He added: "The producers look of panic was if to say, 'Is it too late to fire him? Such an inauspicious start", Rudd recalled. Throughout the time he worked with Aniston on the set, Rudd said he's certain she never got over his folly.

Rudd says that he went over to Aniston and joked, "Well, we did it, what a ride". "The joke inevitably fell flat!" Speaking about being a part of the gang as Phoebe's husband Mike at the end of the series, he explained: "It was an incredible thing to be part of and the whole experience, but seems a bit surreal and a bit of a blur in my memory".

"The show was a phenomenon and I was in the very last episode, which made no sense to me whatsoever".

In addition to working together on Friends, Rudd and Aniston co-starred in the 1998 movie The Object of My Affection.

He and Aniston would go on to co-star in "Wanderlust" in 2012 alongside Aniston's most recent ex, Justin Theroux.

The Graham Norton Show airs on BBC America, and Friends is now streaming on Netflix.
