Actress Hilary Duff is finding that to be the case with her 7-year-old son, Luca. After all, we do have one unbelievable tool our parents never did: the internet--where you cannot only turn for answers, but also plenty of moral support, like the outpouring of comments Duff received from other parents on her post.

Hilary explained that she left "real" school in third grade, as she started tutoring on film and television sets.

As longtime fans know, the actress has been in the industry since she was just a child which means that most of her life, she's focused much more on her acting career than on school education.

And on Saturday, the mother-of-two took to her Instagram account to talk about how it was getting more and more hard for her to help son Luca with his second-grade homework. I didn't go to & # 39; real & # 39; school in 3rd grade, so I'm actually doomed.

She was only ten years old, in 1998, when she had her big break, playing the titular witch in Casper Meets Wendy.

The celeb posted a photo showing her and the little boy: & # 39; This guy with his spirit and kindness & # 39; Homework is no joke in 2nd class. "I am left scratching my head all the time look at his homework and I'm terrified for next year!"

She said she wondered how the story proceeds now, for a 30-year-old woman who doesn't have everything in life. "Although Singapore math is the s-....also learned a lot about tick birds this week". From there, things began looking up for the child star, she soon went to lead her own Disney Channel show Lizzie McGuire, which ran from 2001 to 2004. She told sources that it was fascinating for her character to be revived.

Speaking to PEOPLE after the announcement, Duff said she felt like it was "the right time" for the show to come back, considering the parallel stages of life Lizzie and the show's loyal fans would now be in.
