Viewers are eagerly anticipating more palace intrigue and royal drama from the third season of "The Crown", and on Saturday Netflix Japan unveiled the first full trailer for the upcoming season. Her quarter century as the sovereign receives a celebratory event-1977's Silver Jubilee-but even among the pomp, flag-waving fans, and horse-drawn grandeur, it's clear she doesn't think there's much to cheer about: "On days like today, ask yourself, in the time I've been on the throne, what have I actually achieved?"

Set to a cover of Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are a Changin'", the trailer teases that this season the monarchy will have to grapple with a miner's strikes, a feisty Labour Party Prime Minister, and more than a small dose of in-fighting.

Replacing Claire Foy as QEII is Oscar victor Olivia Colman, while Prince Phillip (played by Matt Smith in the first two seasons) is portrayed by Tobias Menzies ("Outlander") and Princess Margaret is played by Helena Bonham Carter, replacing Vanessa Kirby. "This country was great when I came to the throne", she says in the trailer. Prince Charles and Princess Anne will also grow older with Josh O'Connor and Erin Doherty filling in those roles. For season 3, we're skipping ahead to the 1970s, with Oscar victor Olivia Colman as the queen, Game of Thrones vet Tobias Menzies, and Helena Bonham Carter as Margaret. "All that's happened on my watch is that the place has fallen apart".

It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I'll be looking forward to season 3 when it drops on November 3.
