Holiday cups, drinks now available at Starbucks

The new Starbucks green cup is available exclusively in USA stores for a limited time. In the past, Starbucks has been criticized for not being Christmas enough and not serving good coffee.

Alaska Airlines will offer priority boarding at the gate to all passengers holding the Starbucks newly designed holiday cups from Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 10. Yup, merry coffee. Like, the coffee is happy? "Starbucks" holiday drinks are back and so are the reusable red cups. There were several reports that Starbucks ran out of the free cups before 7:00 a.m. It's fun, festive and uniquely Starbucks.

In case if you don't remember, Starbucks ran out of these holiday cups fast previous year so I really do hope that have stocked up.

Though the cups are beginning to look a lot like Christmas, they do not name the holiday - which has stirred controversy in years past.

New or seasonal menu items help drive sales because customers often buy them in addition to their regular orders, instead of swapping items out.

Starbucks was "very encouraged" by the reception of the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew this summer, said CEO Kevin Johnson during an analyst call discussing fourth-quarter earnings.

'Tis the holiday season, thanks to Starbucks!

Starbucks isn't the only company that relies on seasonal markers to draw in customers. It's not until after the first four groups of disabled, passengers with babies, active military, first-class passengers, and elite program fliers board the flight that the cup-holding passengers fall in line as the fifth group to board, just one slot ahead of the group sitting in the back of the plane.
