#Showbiz: Korean actor Cha In Ha found dead at home

On December 3, rookie actor and SURPRISE U member Cha In Ha was found dead. "We are filled with grief at this news that is still hard to believe", read the statement.

Police are now investigating the cause, and no further details have been disclosed including the location, time, etc. Cha In Ha's label Fantagio also responded to the reports with, "We were notified and are now checking on the matter." .

"We earnestly ask for rumors to not be spread and for speculative reports to not be released in order for his family, who is experiencing greater sadness more than anyone due to the sudden sad news, to send him away peacefully".

His death came less than two weeks after K-pop star Goo Hara, 28, was found dead, and the third to hit the headline after another K-pop in Sulli, 25, was found to have taken her own life.

The South Korean entertainment industry continues to be riddled with news of deaths.

Cha In Ha made his acting debut in 2017 short film You, Deep Inside of Me.

Cha has acted in TV dramas such as Degree Of Love, Wok Of Love, Are You Human, Too?, Clean With Passion For Now and The Banker.

His latest project, drama Love With Flaws, premiered on November 27th.
