Born in the southern India city of Chennai, Pichai studied engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Kharagpur before heading to the United States.

After leaving India, he earned a level in engineering and supplies science at Stanford College and a grasp's in enterprise administration on the Wharton Faculty on the College of Pennsylvania.

The parent company was meant to make the tech giant's activities "cleaner and more accountable" as it expanded from internet search into other areas such as self-driving cars.
