Although the remake was leaked through a PlayStation Store listing earlier this month, the official trailer for Resident Evil 3 debuted today at Sony's State of Play presentation. These include a dodge mechanic, the ability to mix gun powder to make ammo, and a 180-degree turn allowing you to quickly evade incoming attacks.

Originally released for PlayStation in 1999, Resident Evil 3 follows Jill Valentine as she attempts to escape Raccoon city in the immediate aftermath of the virus outbreak, before the events of Resident Evil 2.

In addition, it was also confirmed that Resident Evil Resistance, the multiplayer game previously known as Project Resistance, will be made available alongside Resident Evil 3 Remake.

Not only is RE3 getting a very pretty remake, the folks at Capcom are including the online 1 v. 4 game Resident Evil: Resistance along with it. The Resi remake will come to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3, 2020 - and it will contain all of Project Resistance as a separate 4-player co-op mode. The game received the "Ultimate Game of the Year" award at the Golden Joystick Awards 2019 ceremony in London in November.

You play as Jill Valentine, who arrives in Raccoon City a few days before Leon and Claire do in Resident Evil 2.

Resident Evil 3 features more action-oriented gameplay than previous instalments and introduces the Nemesis creature, which periodically pursues the player. Resident Evil Resistance will be included with the game. The game shipped in Japan under the title Biohazard 7: resident evil.
