The company will be offering you a Rs. 1,000 discount during the Republic Day Sale on Flipkart, which means you can pick up the Honor 9X for just Rs 12,999. This includes the new Honor 9X smartphone, the Honor Magic Watch 2 and the Honor Band 5i fitness tracker. Honor 9X was first launched in China back in July past year and features an attractive gradient design, a mid-range Kirin chipset, a pop-up selfie camera, and more.

Honor also showcased two new smartwatches - Watch Magic 2- that will be launched alongside the smartphones in India next month.

As promised time and again, Honor has today ended the drought and launched the Honor 9X in India. In India, the phone is expected to be priced between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000. However, these wearables are also believed to be priced similar to the Chinese pricing. The phone comes in two variants - 4GB RAM + 128GB and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. Honor has already released Android 10 beta for the 9X, so it shouldn't take very long for the stable update to become available. The Honor Magic Watch 2 was launched at CNY 1,099 (about Rs 11,200) for the 42mm variant and CNY 1,199 (about Rs 12,200) for the 46mm variant.

Honor will start selling the Band 5i through Amazon.in from January 19 for INR1,999 ($30/€25).

The dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 9X runs Android Pie with EMUI 9.1 on top and features a 6.59-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the China variant gets powered by Huawei's in-house Kirin HiSilicon 810 chip. There is a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Further, it comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens.

Before I go ahead, I would like to point out the Honor 9X Indian variant has some minor differences as compared to the Chinese one.

The smartphone ships with a 4,000 mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port at the speed of 10W. It is likely that the India variant may feature an older Kirin 710 SoC. So stay tuned for official details.

The Honor Magic Watch 2 has a 1.2-inch circular AMOLED display on its 42mm variant, while its 46mm model packs a 1.39-inch display. The watch is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin A1 SoC and also sports 4GB of onboard storage. Magic Watch 2 has a 5ATM water resistance and a heart rate monitor. The Magic Watch 2 comes with various watch face options and it also allows you to customise the watch face with pictures from your phone's album.

Honor Band 5i will come with features like 24-hour heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, oxygen saturation level monitor, and a virtual trainer.
