Man Utd and Sporting CP haggle over Fernandes fee

The Portugal global is keen on a move but there has been no agreement between the clubs over a fee.

As per Daily Mail, United have made a bid of £50 million and added bonuses as both clubs' chiefs have had discussions.

But that would be beefed up by including a player in the deal, with Brazilian midfielder Pereira, who stands to be replaced in the United team by Fernandes, the latest to be offered in a loan deal. The club often plays one between Juan Mata and Andreas Periera.
