"I think the negativity around "test shaming" is counterproductive", Elba said. Does that make me preferential? "I don't even understand the logic of that", Elba said of himself and his wife, Sabrina Dhowre Elba, who also tested positive for COVID-19. Cardi has now answered back to the comments, saying, "Sometimes I get on my Live and I be talking some insane sh*t entertaining my fans, and people take what I say and run with it".

"This idea that someone like myself is gonna be paid to say I've got coronavirus? Such stupidness", he added.

Cardi went on to basically say that she is just as scared and confused as the rest of us, explaining, "I'm scared because I'm around my kid, I'm around my grandparent. I don't understand that", he added.

The Luther actor revealed last week he had tested positive for the highly-contagious virus and has been in isolation with his wife since. "I am just trying to keep my mind clear". So I want people to understand that this is very real.

In an Instagram Live story, rapper Cardi B fuelled internet conspiracies, saying high-profile names who have contracted the virus sound like they are in "a Flat Tummy Tea commercial", referring to detox products influencers are paid to promote online.

Idris Elba recently tested positive for the coronavirus.

In a recent FaceTime interview with Oprah Winfrey when Elba was asked about his views on the COVID-19 outbreak which has claimed over 21,185 lives in the world, he said that one of the "upsides" of the entire "drama" is that the humans are "forced to think together as a race". "And if y'all are paying ni**as to say that they got it, pay me too". In his new health update, he said he had body aches and a headache the day that he got tested, but those were his most severe symptoms.

Elba is not the only celebrity to have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

'It's interesting and worrying that people are possibly carrying this disease and are seemingly okay, but can spread it easily, ' he said of not being symptomatic. "Now still quarantine. Sab and I still feel ok so far with no changes", Elba wrote.
