CBS All Acces Free For A Month, Includes Star Trek: Picard

Tomorrow, CBS All Access will wrap up the first season of Star Trek: Picard. Actor Patrick Stewart announced via social media on Tuesday that CBS All Access is offering a month free subscription to anyone in the US immediately through April 23.

Along with the code word "GIFT" (which unlocks the service until April 23), Stewart delivered the message to fans, "It's felt good to bring Picard back". CBS took the opportunity to give access to all their online programming to the public free of charge.

In an investor call in February - before the coronavirus pandemic had all but ground the economy to a standstill - ViacomCBS CEO Bob Bakish told investors that he anticipated CBS All Access and Showtime would reach a combined 16 million subscribers by the end of 2020.

The season finale of Star Trek: Picard drops this Thursday. The series is available Internationally through Amazon Prime Video every Friday.

"We're thrilled to announce plans for a second season before the series' debut, and we are confident that Star Trek fans and new viewers alike will be captured by the stellar cast and creative team's meticulously crafted story when it premieres on January 23".
