The Javits convention centre in NY has also been turned into a makeshift hospital and it'll house patients who don't now have coronavirus.

NHS Nightingale is being built with the help of military assistance at ExCeL London and will be comprised of two wards, with 2,000 beds in each. None of the reported proposed facilities would be as large as the one now being built at the ExCeL convention centre in the Docklands area of London; however, a fourth said that the military was scoping out ten "ExCeL-type" facilities around the country. It has previously hosted a G20 summit, the 2012 Olympics, and one of the world's largest armaments fairs.

Its construction, and that of any other future field hospitals, is being done with the support of Her Majesty's Armed Forces.

Appeal Team lead Victoria Manning said the public response to the Covid-19 crisis and its impact on staff has been "incredible".

It will also include a morgue.

Clearly taken aback by the scale of measures, Mr Woodside told viewers: "Just here making the new makeshift hospital. Until I came in and saw the size of the hall".

"If you're not taking [coronavirus] seriously like I wasn't, I think we really need to start", said the man who filmed the video.

Up to 20,000 military personnel are on standby to assist.

The ExCel Centre in London will soon be turned into a temporary hospital which will be used to treat coronavirus patients.
