Royole was practically the very first business to disclose a foldable smart device, as well as now its follower is right here - greet to the Royole Flexpai2 The brand-new gadget has a third generation Cicada Wing (Flexible Foldable Display) that has a smaller sized fold as well as bend span, while all at once bringing improved illumination, comparison, as well as watching angle.

Liu revealed the new phone will have a Snapdragon 865 chipset with 5G modem.

The device is likely to be released sometime in the second quarter. The stream lasted almost an hour with a lot of talk about new folding displays, but the FlexPai 2 itself was shown right at the end for barely a couple of minutes.

Royole Flexpai 2 features the 3rd generation Cicada wing, which is basically a fancier term for the company's flexible display panel.

The company is also touting its proprietary screen technology that eliminates the layer peeling effect.

Royole said it has found a way to optimise the crease in folding displays to all but eliminate its appearance, though it didn't demonstrate this clearly on the brief show of the FlexPai 2. The phone has a quad-camera setup, details of which aren't available yet. As for the details and capabilities of these sensors, we'll have to wait for a full-fledged launch. Once unfolded, the screen has a 4:3 aspect ratio and supports more than 200,000 bends without any damage. The phone will also have a stereo dual speaker. This will probably result in ZTE releasing a phone based on the Flexpai 2 although no specifics were given. However, it is likely to be launched at around $1,600 (approximately Rs. 1,21,700) - the global retail price at which the original FlexPai was launched.
