Asus is likely going to announce the ZenFone 7 and ROG Phone 3 around soon, if reports are to be believed. And that will begin with the launch of the ZenFone 7 and ROG Phone 3, which could be released by the end of Q2 2020 or early Q3 2020.

Meanwhile, the Taiwan based company seems to be pinning high hopes on its gaming oriented phone, the ROG Phone III.

For fans of ASUS devices, it's great that we're finally getting hints of the company's smartphones for 2020. For the unaware, the ROG Phone III is a follow up to last year's ROG Phone II which is known for disrupting the gaming smartphone segment with its flagship specifications and relatively affordable price tag.

This comes from Taiwanese publication Commercial Times which says that Asus Zenfone 7 and the ROG Phone 3 will launch in July.

This goes effectively in line with the latest Wi-Fi certification that the upcoming ROG Phone III obtained. The ZenFone 7, on the other hand, follows the ZenFone 6 (or ASUS 6Z) from past year, which featured an innovative flip camera module. However, the former serves to confirm Snapdragon 865 SoC and at least one variant with 8GB of RAM. It is also mentioned to be running on Android 10. The ROG Phone II was a ideal gaming device at that time and like the Zenfone 6 it has also got any updates for a long time. Previously the ROG Phone 2 had a 120Hz refresh rate display and that is something that should be ported to the next iteration.

To feature Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform?

It offers up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.0 flash storage.

Along with the power-hungry hardware, the device came packed with a huge 6000mAh battery. Speaking of the ZenFone 6, it offered a true bezel-less experience with no notch or cut-out.
