17, 2019, Denver Broncos quarterback Joe Flacco (5) throws against the Kansas City Chiefs during the first half of an NFL football game in Denver. Douglas was a key member of the Ravens' personnel department who fought for Flacco during a draft process that eventually led to Baltimore taking Flacco with the 18th-overall pick, per NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah.

Flacco started eight games, throwing for 1,822 yards and six touchdowns. F lacco said he initially had neck issues a few weeks before the game against the Colts.

After the season, Flacco was optimistic he would be medically cleared and be able to continue his career.
