Exploratory talks over a multi-million-pound showdown between the pair were initiated earlier this month.

Saudi Arabia is said to be the frontrunner to land the bout, although it's been reported the contest could take place elsewhere in the Arabian Peninsula. Fury will take on Wilder in a rematch later this year.

WBC champion Fury faces a third fight with Deontay Wilder next, while Joshua is due to step into the ring with Kubrat Pulev after their bout - scheduled for June - was called off amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"I see how people are afraid of me and are trying to face someone else before me".

He adds enough is enough and he can not wait to win this fight.

The prospect of accepting a pay-off to allow Joshua to the opportunity to become undisputed champion isn't something Pulev is willing to entertain, especially after allowing "AJ" a rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr late a year ago.

Joshua had previously challenged Fury by telling Sky Sports: "Yes, come fight me".

"I can't say that [the offer is from Macau] at the moment, [but] it is from the Far East", he said. "Everything was against IBF's rules, but I compromised", Pulev continued.

Speaking at an interview with Bad Left Hook, the Bulgarian who is well prepared for a showdown with the Nigerian born-British based boxer made outrageous claims saying that Anthony Joshua is scared to fight him. "

"I'm ready to face Joshua; it doesn't matter where.

"I'm the unified heavyweight champion of the world, he's the WBC champion".

"Even Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield are coming back to the game to show that they are real warriors, not like him".

For Pulev, the mandatory challenger for Joshua's IBF title, the situation is crystal clear. There are two options.

His £1million plan is to open with the all-Brit world title clash between Terri Harper and Natasha Jonas in mid-July, before closing with Dillian Whyte's WBC interim heavyweight title fight against Alexander Povetkin in the first or second Saturday in August.
